    Unfortunately, we didn’t have a good stay here - we should probably just have stayed at St Helen’s instead.. First, when we checked in at 3pm, we were informed that we were the only guests for the night and there would be no staff around at all till the next day. Second, at midnight, a very loud high-pitcher alarm went off and kept ringing repeatedly every 15 mins. This gave us a rude shock and we were very worried, especially since there were no staff on site and there didn’t seem to be any people living anywhere close to this pub/hotel. Thankfully the off-site staff was responsive and eventually sent someone over to fix the alarm. But needless to say we didn’t sleep well at all that night. The rooms here also seem run down and in dire need of refurbishment.

    Over priced rooms for what you get, breakfast included is just cereal. Small rooms which ain’t clean.
