We recently spent two nights at the Freycinet resort with our kids and found the location, staff and facilities amazing. The resort has great, cabins were so nicely decked out and an amazing outlook and view up and down Tasmania's east coast.
The restaurant was very accommodating and breakfast was delicious. We ate dinner there one night and whilst the food was delicious, i felt it a little overpriced for for portion size and lacked choice for fussier eaters (the kids meal was great!).
Would definitely recommend!

Amazing location up mt Paul about 10mins from freycinet national Park. Cool location with lots of wildlife and interesting artworks. Restaurant was amazing with stunning views. We didn't prebook our dinner so could only order a fixed meal that was tasty but $$$. Would still recommend

Staff are very friendly and nice to chat with. The cabins are extermely small and very basic for the price, not what I expected. You need to travel 5km up the dirt road to get to the cabins! Would have been great if the restaurant offered more than just the chefs menu for dinner, as it gets dark super early and there are a lot of wallaby’s so be careful driving because you will need to go out. More food options would have meant not eating out every night at other venues. The views are pretty from the rooms.
