    Stayed at Pillow & Bread Hostel in Bangkok, and overall, it was a pretty good experience! The room was decent and comfortable enough. I especially liked the co-working space with tables and chairs, where you could work on your laptop, read, eat, or just chill. They also had a nice variety of board games, which I really loved! Such a nice touch for hanging out and having fun with other travelers. One thing I really appreciated was the amenities. Breakfast was simple, with bread, jam, and a toaster, plus unlimited coffee! They also had free washing machines that guests could use as much as they wanted. You just need to buy detergent or fabric softener for 10 baht. Super convenient, especially for longer stays! They also sell drinks, from bottled water and soda to canned beer, all at reasonable prices. The shared bathrooms and toilets were also pretty clean and well-maintained, as they were cleaned daily. The only minor issue was the shower temperature. Sometimes the water got surprisingly hot, and adjusting it to a comfortable temperature could be a little tricky. Maybe it had something to do with the water heater settings, but it wasn't a major problem. Another downside was the stairs. My room was on the 3rd floor, and there's no elevator, so carrying a big suitcase upstairs was quite a workout haha. Doing laundry was another mini workout, especially when carrying lots of clothes from the 1st floor all the way up to the rooftop on the 4th floor to hang them out to dry. Hopefully, they'll consider installing an elevator someday. It would make such a big difference! The staff were friendly and helpful enough, and they could communicate in basic English, so no major issues there. Overall, a good budget-friendly hostel with plenty of practical amenities. Not fancy, but comfortable and convenient, especially if you're staying in Bangkok for several days. Just be prepared for some stair climbing if you got a room located at 2 / 3 floor 😂
