I was very surprised by the high rating this hotel has. Upon arrival, there was no reception staff; instead, a lady handed the room key to the gardener, who then showed us to our room. Shortly after, he informed us that the pool was out of service—the only real facility available at the hotel. The next morning at breakfast, a lady served us a local meal with no options or alternatives offered. The restaurant itself was covered with bed sheets, giving the impression that it was closed. Throughout our stay, we appeared to be the only guests in the entire property. This was very disappointing because the hotel has a lot of potential, but it is clear that there is little to no staff operating it. On the few occasions we needed assistance, I had to call the number provided in the booking confirmation, and only then would someone come to help us.
