This hotel goes into my list of "One of the best" with ease. Where to begin? Excellent location! Right at the footstep of the great Burj Khalifa. What a view from the room. Add on to it, the reception had apparently given us the best view room in that price category and I AGREE! Simply breathtaking. The room itself was excellent as well. Plenty of space to even put a full single bed and still have space left! Shower was great too, I always consider shower areas to be an important aspect in hotel rooms and Palace Downtown passed with flying colors in that aspect. Food was insanely good. Breakfast to die for. The spread that was laid out was simply superb. Service from the hotel was above and beyond what is expected from hotels of this caliber. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to come and stay here again. Mind you, it can get insanely pricey during peak holiday seasons though. We honestly felt that it was worth the price we paid for it.

Staying in a suite with a view of the Dubai Fountain is an unforgettable experience, offering a front-row seat to the magic right from your balcony. This beauty is matched by perfect service, where the staff's genuine warmth makes every moment feel special. The hotel’s spa is a divine retreat, providing world-class treatments that offer a peaceful escape from the vibrant energy of Downtown. The location is simply unbeatable. With the charming Souk Al Bahar just next door, you are steps away from exquisite perfumes and unique treasures. The surrounding pedestrian walk leads you past a variety of beautiful restaurants and directly toward the Dubai Mall, making it the most elegant base for exploring Dubai.

Although it is a five-star hotel and I cannot detract from the hotel as a brand. However, the renovations were said have been done were not at the expected level at all. For example, the materials used in the bathroom were not up to the standards of a five-star hotel at all. There was water leakage from all connections, whether in the bathtub or the sinks and showe cabin. For me as a guest, the first thing I evaluate in the room and give the first impression of comfort is the bathroom. I hope that this problem will be addressed.
