Room very dirty Could not use pool because it was green. Breakfast poor eggs not cooked. I paid 2000 baht for Seaview room which was not worth 500baht. Bed very very hard.

We are usually travelling through on our bicycles and this is a great half day ride to a beach area from Trang , and slightly apart from other resorts in the area. Has a restaurant, pool and is across the street from the beach. 16 km to pier for boats to Koh Mook.

Resort stay with dim lights within rooms. Bungalows with river view in the forest with dim street lights, making it creepy at night. Very out of the way from restaurants. Low-tide beach. 1 hour drive from Trang town.

Our stay at the Pakmeng Resort was mixed but overall felt we had over paid for what we got . Check-in was easy and we were given the room type we had booked. The room was of good size, having a really big bed and a decent size bathroom. But the room lacked many of the things expected when paying 2k a night. The swimming pool was small and of a rather odd construction. The restaurant in the evening we found most pleasant and food cooked to a good standard. The breakfast buffet was a choice of two set meals. Again poor for what was being paid. Oh nearly forgot, WiFi was unavailable in the room.
