    if you happen to crash in kantang – this is a very charming hotel overlooking the river by the port.

    We booked a double-bed room with a private bathroom. The room is spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The bathroom is also spacious with a water heater. There is a hair dryer and a cloth rack provided but no refrigerator and closet. There is no elevator and the rooms start on 3rd floor (our room is on 4th. 😅). The 2nd floor is a common space. There is no car parking area but you can park in front of the hostel (around 3-4 spots). There is a staff taking care of the hostel all night. I am not sure if staffs can speak English or not. There is a 7-11 shop and a recommended local Chinese restaurant nearby, only 250-m away. Kantang town is quite small but if you love to explore a not-crowded old town with sino-protuguese architecture, Kantang is a nice town to visit. :)
