Quite quiet , but could use a table in the room. Also, needs more hangers, and the tub is very slippery.

We had a wonderful stay at Pacific Shores Resort & Spa. The setting is really what makes this place special. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept, and the resort is surrounded by nature along Craig Bay. Even though the property is shared with some privately owned residences, it still feels peaceful and unique. The resort itself sits on 13 acres with gardens, trails, pools and other amenities. One of our favourite parts of the stay was being so close to the water and wildlife. Madrona Point is nearby, and we saw seals basking on the rocks in the area. Later, while kayaking, we even encountered a mother seal and her pup swimming not far from us. That was such a memorable experience. Our room was comfortable, with a queen bed, a large TV and a decent-sized refrigerator, which was very useful during a longer stay. There are a few areas where I think the resort could improve. Soundproofing between rooms could be better, as we could sometimes hear neighbouring guests. There was also no regular housekeeping service during our stay, although the front desk was helpful and provided fresh towels and toiletries whenever we needed them. Another downside is that the on-site restaurant is currently closed. I really wish there were at least a breakfast option available, because being able to have breakfast without leaving the resort would make the experience even better. That said, if you have a car, there are plenty of restaurants within a short drive. I would also recommend improving the kayak and paddleboard rental system. At the moment there is no clear queue or sign-up process, which can cause frustration when equipment is limited. Something as simple as a first-come, first-served list, similar to a restaurant waitlist, would make things much easier and fairer for everyone. We did eventually get to kayak and had a fantastic experience, so this is really an area where a small organizational change could make a big difference. Despite those few issues, I would return in a heartbeat. The natural surroundings are difficult to beat. Being able to walk around the grounds, enjoy the water, kayak and see wildlife so close by made the stay feel genuinely special.

My kid liked the pools , room was mediocre and small. Seemed more geared for seniors than families.

We had neighbours TV blaring until 1 AM loud enough to hear every detail. The lack of cleaning was disturbing. The room only had a bar fridge and coffee maker. We later stayed at a different unit which was far nicer and rented by VRBO.
