We stayed at Habitas for five days so we can provide a clear overview of what Habitas brings. Cons: 1. Price - The quality for this price tag is not of a four start hotel/resort - could get same conditions for a lower price or much better conditions in other areas for same price range 2. Noise - They market themselves as a quiet and chill place, yet the noise is really loud in the room - either too close to the main road or next to a beach bar with loud music. If you want a restful vacation, I do not recommend this place 3. Food - the food is ok (not fabulous), yet the service is disorganized and the menu is set with only a few options available - eventually we got bored with the options. We are always expected to tip, even on the included breakfast, which is frustrating and did not provide a better quality of the services. They are very limited in the options they provide, so if you have any preferences, or need a special diet, they will probably not accommodate. 4. Rooms - they are nice, decent, but not worthy of the price tag. You don’t have an iron or blow dryer in the room, they need to be requested. 5. Hospitality - Overall the service is rigid due to internal policies, not worthy of the name - unable to accommodate any of the requests we had and blaming everything on the policy. We wanted to leave after two days due to loud noises in the room, yet they couldn’t change the room, nor provide a refund or accept the move to a different Habitas location. Unacceptable for such an establishment. 6. Beach - small cute beach, yet swimming is problematic as it is very rocky area. There are much better beaches around the area with a more scenic view. Pros: 1. Other activities: They have daily activities: yoga/pilates, mezcal tasting, etc. They are really nice and provide an interesting experience. All sessions we’ve been in, have been great. 2. Nature retreat: It is very green in the venue and it gives a nice vibe. You will hear animals in the night and the bathrooms are completely outside, we liked this part. Overall it is not worth the price tag, despite not being a bad accommodation. If you want a four start experience, this is not the place, you will just get annoyed. Seems we had the same experience as other guests and an overall disappointment. For charging ***+ Euros per night, it is definitely not worth it.

We chose this hotel because we were looking for a small, peaceful place by the beach with a good restaurant – no all-inclusive, no big crowds. And that’s exactly what we found: charming bungalows, a fantastic spa, and a lovely restaurant with great food and service. However, there are two major downsides: First, the beach doesn’t match the photos shown online – they’re outdated (probably 8+ years old). The beach is much smaller now and currently covered in seaweed. We didn’t mind swimming, but the misleading promotion felt disappointing. Updated photos would help set the right expectations. Second, every Sunday from 1 PM to 7 PM, there’s a loud party with a live DJ that attracts many people from outside the hotel. The peaceful vibe is gone – it gets very crowded, there’s loud music, and even in the bungalows, there’s no escape from the noise. Having a quiet dinner at the restaurant becomes nearly impossible unless you enjoy party noise while eating. It really changes the atmosphere. Also, although there’s a strict non-smoking policy with a $200 fine for smoking outside the designated area, during the party people smoked everywhere – which felt very contradictory. Such a beautiful and relaxing place – but the beach photos need to be updated, and the Sunday party really doesn’t fit the otherwise tranquil setting. A pity!
