Onomichi Hostel Yutori

Onomichi is a small town which not much hotels can be found or the price for some hostels are pretty high, Onomichi Hostel Yutori is quite a good choice for a budget stay. It is about 10 mins walk from the Onomichi station and 20 mins walk to major commercial street, so it is kind of convenient. There is no convenient store nearby or you have to buy it at the 7-11 next to the station before going back to hostel. The room is spacious enough for one/two persons, with a specious bathroom compared to typical Japanese business hotel. I was arranged to stay at 2nd floor, so I have to carry my luggage upstairs, but it is fine. There’s no desk inside the room but a short side table, so it is not for you to work or having a feast. Though you can sit on the couch and watch tv. The down side of the hostel is that it faces the railway, so you will listen to the train from time to time and in early morning. But the hostel provides ear plugs in case you need it. Also the roller blind cannot entirely block out the light from outside since there are gaps at both sides, so if you are looking for very quite or complete dark room, then you may need to note.

If your looking for beautiful stay at the lovely onomichi do not stay here. We played almost *** for 2 nights expecting something nice, however we were locked out from entering our apartment for 3 hours in the cold as never getting information on how to checkin and having zero way to contact them through agoda. It was thanks to someone leaving the building who was staying there who helped us get in contact with them with another email they have. We hoped we would get something good, however it was barely enough to fit 2 people, when were a group of 3, bed linen was stained, and the amenities where not the best . If your coming to onomichi go somewhere else, please.
