I really enjoyed my 2-week stay here! Mike (“Magic Mike” haha!) and Roda were amazing, super fun, kind, and always taking care of everyone, including the volunteers. The volunteers were also very friendly, and I met so many lovely and fun people here!
You should definitely try kayaking from the hostel to Cadlao Island! We did it, and wow… 40 minutes of kayaking was quite a workout 😅 but it was so much fun!
I work remotely, so a quick suggestion would be I hope they have a coworking space.
I enjoyed my boat trips in El Nido, but honestly, the people were the best part of my stay. The OIA staff, volunteers, and fellow guests are truly one of a kind. Saying goodbye felt a little sad.
And of course… the sunset here is AMAZING!! 🌅 My favorite part was how everyone gathered after 5 PM to watch the sunset with live music playing in the background.
I’ll definitely miss Georgie, Maya, Lola, and even the neighbor’s baby monkey too!
Thank you so much, OIA! When I come back to El Nido, I will absolutely stay here again!

i met a lot of ppl in the hostel wc i became friends with. rlly good view, food, and activities. fun!!
