We originally booked a sister hotel, but were directed to check in here. My son was so scared of the other hotel I asked if there was space to stay at this facilty. I had to pay to “upgrade.” The receptionist herself told me she wouldn’t stay at the sister spot! I don’t know what the upgrade fee was for. The “hot tub” was running cold water, was full of dirt and was rusty. The pool was also full of dirt. The pool faculty itself was run down, and desperately needed attention. We walked in and walked straight out.
Our room was fairly clean. All the appliances were plugged into one extension cord that was literally hanging in the air. I tried to plug my phone into a different outlet and it fell right out.
I seriously felt we would have been better off staying in our car in a parking lot. I felt like a bad Mom for agreeing to keep my son there.
We arrived at 9pm and left by 430am.
I should have taken pictures and regret not, someone needs to know how run down and potentially dangerous (electrical/health hazards in pool) this place is.
