    Great location, front looks amazing, back door is a bit dodgy looking but perfectly fine. Room was a bit small but had no trouble with the size. Shower wasn't the nicest but did the job well. Staff are very helpful and sociable. Beautiful entry and outside area. Parking is $35 a night and spaces are limited (only 3 spaces)

    Needed a room on a budget at short notice, it was lovely, had an ensuite and aircon, TV, tea and coffee, check-in was easy, staff were friendly and accommodating, location is fantastic, I would highly recommend this hotel if you need a clean and comfortable room in the area.

    I stayed at the North Shore Hotel for three nights and unfortunately had a very poor experience. I was given a corner room, but the condition of the room was unacceptable. The basin was completely blocked and the water would not drain at all, which made basic use of the sink very unpleasant. The hair dryer in the room was also not working, which shows a clear lack of maintenance and attention to basic guest needs. Overall, the facilities were below standard and poorly maintained. For a hotel that charges guests for accommodation, basic things like a functioning sink and working appliances should be checked before a room is given to guests. I expected much better. Based on my experience, the hotel seriously needs to improve its maintenance and room quality before I could recommend it to anyone.
