Staff not helpful. Showers are filthy. No cover on extraction in shower. Musty smell in room. Hotel in general had a cigarette smoke and food smell lingering.

Everything was good for the *** price which is hard to find something in that range around that area. The strange thing was noises. You heard corridor doors shutting, jets flying overhead and this strange background noise that took me a long time to realise at 4am in the morning was the refrigerator. If I had ear plugs I might have had the perfect stay

Yeah it's OK. Cheap, clean, quiet, safe. It's a pain getting there from the airport but if it weren't you would pay more for it. I always stay there before I leave or return to Australia.\, which is a lot.

I accidentally booked this “Ibis Budget hotel” without realizing just how “budget” it was. It was only around AUD $10–20 cheaper than the other Ibis hotels or any other in the area, and since there are several Ibis properties around, it was a little confusing. The main reason I’m mentioning this is because of the receptionist’s attitude towards my husband. We were surprised to discover that there was “no lift in the building”, and when my husband expressed his surprise, she rather rudely responded by pointing out that it was a “budget hotel” as if questioning his intelligence. We honestly couldn’t believe her attitude. The so-called continental breakfast was also a disaster. The coffee machine wasn’t working, yet there was no sign to let guests know. The yoghurt had run out, and we had to ask for it to be refilled. Napkins also run out but she did not bother to re-fill it. On the positive side, the cleaning staff were much friendlier and more polite than the receptionist. Another issue was the room itself: the windows did not close properly, so there was a lot of noise coming in from outside. Overall, I understand that this is a budget hotel but being budget friendly shouldn’t mean poor customer service, basic maintenance issues, or an unpleasant breakfast experience.
