Simple old bungalows that could benefit of a renovation

Enjoyed our stay at Nirwana Seaside Cottages, location could not have been better, we had deluxe rooms on ground floor overlooking pool. They also had adjoining rooms. Bed an pillows comfortable. Breakfast simple and nice served 8-10 so could not have one one day as we went on dolphin tour. Infinity Pool was absolutely clean and beautiful with frangipani tree leaning out over part of pool for some shade. Perfect temperature, not hot or cold. Small kiddy pool and larger pool ranging from about 1.3 to deeper (I couldn’t touch bottom at one end I am 1.6). Big enough to do laps if you were inclined. Location was next to dolphin statue, and all the beachfront bars eateries and shops. The waterways and ponds around property could use good clean out but despite this did not see any mosquitoes while there (fish in ponds). All in all a lovely stay at Niwana.

There's no getting around the fact that this place is in serious need of an upgrade. Our showerhead was made of bakerlite and there was no holder for it. The sheets don't fit the beds well and the glasses in the rooms were so old they were opaque. BUT.... The beds are comfy, the Aircon was good, the pool is lush and it's in a good location.
The staff were so lovely to us all and the breakfast did the job every morning.
We originally booked for 2 nites and stayed for 6.

This hotel has a very great location, only few steps to dolphin statue. But the building really need refreshments/ renovation especially the sliding door, bugs & big ants come and go through it. No shampoo, no hairdryer, only bar soap
