    We had a wonderful two night stay at Nippondaira Hotel. The staff are very friendly, accommodating, and helpful, especially for English speaking travelers. There is a convenient hotel shuttle that runs to the train station, and on-call bus for the ropeway. The views of Mt. Fuji are immaculate if you’re lucky with clear skies. The facilities are clean, well organized, and spacious. The breakfast buffet is a treat with many tasty unique Japanese and western options. We will definitely be returning!

    The attentive staff, the immaculate grounds, the luxurious room, the glorious view, and the delicious food made our stay here a stunning high point in our trip. We ended up staying in seven different hotels during our visit to Japan, and Nippondaira was by far the most breathtaking and memorable. I hope to visit again.

    The contemporary design perfectly merges w/the natural surroundings. The panorama view overlooking Shimizu port is unbeatable. The massive glass windows brings in a lot of light & gives a very welcoming feel. Staff is kind & friendly. My room is spacious w/a balcony.
