The County Hotel is the perfect place to stay for a night out in Newcastle. It’s opposite the station and close to everything you need. The staff were incredibly helpful and the room was very comfy!

We stayed at Newcastle County Hotel for one night. The building is an older, traditional-style property, which explains some of the limited facilities, such as the absence of in-room phones. Wake-up calls are done by knocking on the door. We booked the cheapest room type, and overall it met expectations for what we paid. Towels and bath towels were provided and everything was in place. We asked in advance about early check-in and received a helpful reply that it would be possible if a room was available, which we appreciated. Overall, there was nothing major to complain about. It is a basic but functional stay in a very convenient location.
