    Love staying at the Copthorne for a short break. The walk up Grey St can get a bit weary on longer stays though so we usually rotate the Copthorne with somewhere else. Hotel is always spotless and rooms are very comfortable with great views of the Tyne. Would definitely recommend

    Really good hotel, highly recommend it. Excellent choice for breakfast. First class all round. Will definitely stay again next time we visit Newcastle, which by the way is a beautiful vibrant city.

    Check in was ok, no information on hotels facilties. Hotel is dated and needs a lick of paint and upgrades. Not much going on in hotel, it has a boring feel about it. Not the easiest walk too town centre.
