    This hostel has changed hands and is no longer Nate’s backpackers. It’s called Mad Monkey. It’s a clean hostel and busy with young backpackers and long termers residing there. It’s noisy and busy but people are friendly and helpful if you penetrate the tough exterior some portray. It’s very well situated near transport and walking distance (10 mins) within the CBD and Southern Cross if you like walking. Also a very well equipped kitchen on the top floor with some outside seating. They prefer people to be under 35 to stay there so not overtly friendly to older people. I would stay again as I met some lovely people whilst there.
