Sleeping in this specific mattress felt like royalty. We had a great time resting in the spacious and vast room. My father was greatful for the work table where he sat each day to do up his stuff. All staff were the friendliest and of great help. Laundry was well done and clothes returned quickly! My parents had massages which they claimed to be well done!
The only improvement they could do is to fix a bidet by the toilet. If we visit Bali again, we will stay here! Thanks for the royal vibe from the surrounding spaces and within the room!

We stayed at Murni’s Houses and Spa in one of their traditional old Bali-style cottages. The place definitely has charm and character, though it does look a bit aged. Cleanliness was generally satisfactory, but unfortunately, the bed and bedsheets seemed quite old, and both I and my family were bitten by bed bugs during our stay, which was disappointing.
The cottage itself was spacious and well maintained overall. We stayed on the upper floor, which had two rooms, a living area, and three toilets — a generous size for a family of five. The breakfast provided was basic; the Balinese option was decent but not particularly memorable.
The hotel arranged our transport, but the service felt quite standard and lacked the warmth and hospitality we were hoping for.
Overall, the stay was just okay. Given the same budget, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again. However, if you’re specifically looking for a traditional, old Bali-style experience and are okay with the rustic feel, it might still be a suitable option for you.

Everything is nice except I can hear the sound from next door whole night when the kids of the family were crying and the sound just came from the roof in the middle of the night. Our two rooms are connected with any sound proof at the top as this is traditional architecture. After a few months, I got time to rate it and this is the only unpleasant thing that I remember. Others are perfect and staff are nice. Spa is quite nice too.
