Family with 3 year old girl stayed for 2 nights. Pool is very nice and staff is great. Wen we got to our room, we noticed large stains on the lower side of the walls. We went to see the receptionist and explained that it looks like surface mould. They said it's not and it's because of the water and moisture. We were not happy to stay in this room with our child. They had another room , but that looked exactly like the first room. So I had to pay little bit more and we got small villa. That was not too bad. Overall not the best stay .

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bacu View – Ubud
This was our second stay at Bacu View, and we love it just as much as the first time. The location is beautifully peaceful, and at night it becomes genuinely magical with fireflies drifting around your own private pool.
Even though it’s not on a main street, there are plenty of great eating options within walking distance, so you still feel connected without losing the tranquility. They also offer an excellent and super‑affordable laundry service (only about $10 AUD per bag), which is incredibly convenient.
Breakfast is fairly average, but the setting more than makes up for it. You get to enjoy your meal overlooking the pool and jungle, and since it’s included in the room price and à la carte with lots of options, it’s still a nice start to the day.
The staff are genuinely incredible — super friendly, warm, and always happy to help with anything you need. They really elevate the whole experience.
Overall, Bacu View remains one of our favourite places to stay in Ubud — peaceful, private, and consistently wonderful.

Beautiful room, service, food, view, pool, breakfast! Only negative is that the curtains are not block out so it is quite light in the morning and not fully dark at night with lights in the garden which are very pretty.

The location was somewhat convenient, but the overall experience was marred by poor housekeeping. Amenities were lacking and the staff’s unhelpfulness added to the frustration. The facilities did not meet expectations, making the value for money quite disappointing.
