Absolutely loved staying here. We started off in the Dragon Room and then moved into the Sheep Room afterwards, which actually made the experience even better because the two rooms felt completely different.
This really is an art hotel in the true sense of the word. Each room feels like its own individual artwork, with a completely different concept, atmosphere and personality. The Dragon Room was bold, creative and full of interesting details, while the Sheep Room had its own totally different style. Moving rooms almost felt like getting to experience a second hotel.
What I loved most is that the art isn’t just a few pictures hung on the walls. The actual rooms themselves are the art. The design, furniture, lighting, textures and little details all work together, and you keep noticing new things the longer you stay. The whole property feels incredibly original and nothing like a generic chain hotel.
Both rooms were also spotlessly clean and really comfortable, with great beds and everything we needed. So despite the artistic concept, it still works really well as a proper hotel.
The staff were fantastic as well, genuinely friendly, welcoming and always happy to help.
I’d especially recommend staying in more than one room if you get the chance because every room is such a different experience. If you love art, design or unusual places to stay, this hotel is an absolute gem. We had such a memorable stay and would 100% come back.
