    Many choices of shop around the hotel. Parking located behind the hotel building and quite easy. But very dark at night as no surronding lights. Room was ok enough for night rest and sleep.

    It’s not about the price—whether it's cheap or expensive isn't the main issue here. The real issue is the service and cleanliness. I stopped by for a one-night stay after a long ride. I will praise the lobby area for being clean, but the front office staff were completely unhelpful and unfriendly. As a Housekeeping Manager who frequently returns to Perlis and stays at various hotels, I notice that the staff standards at most places here are deeply disappointing—and this hotel is one of them. In Langkawi, staff are constantly reminded and trained on how to handle guests. Guests are paying customers; they aren't staying for free, so there is no reason for staff to act arrogant, even if a guest arrives on a motorcycle or bicycle wearing worn-out clothes. Stepping into the room was an even bigger shock (refer to the pictures). It is such a shame because the exterior looks beautiful, but the room condition is appalling. Is this how the housekeeping team works? Just doing the bare minimum? There is mold, the room smells, and the walls are covered in food stains, chipped paint, and marks. I rarely complain, but seeing this state of affairs is incredibly disheartening. If this is the level of service provided, it’s going to be very difficult to attract tourists. Furthermore, the mop used by the staff in the corridors left a strong, fishy odor. It was absolutely nauseating. Feel free to contact me—I am more than willing to provide free training for your housekeeping staff. I only wish for the best because Perlis is my birthplace, and it is a crying shame that most hotels here completely neglect basic cleanliness and proper communication skills.
