    Everything was alright and the staff were generally friendly, but I was disappointed by the lack of professionalism and privacy. The biggest issue was that someone entered my room while I was not there. What made it worse was that the hotel did not inform us beforehand or even afterwards. We only realized something had happened when we noticed that our room key card had been changed. Before arriving, we had already informed the hotel that we would be reaching earlier than expected from Sapa. We understood that our room might not be ready, and we were completely fine with that. We did not ask for any special treatment, shower facilities, or early check-in. In fact, we even paid for another temporary room while waiting. After 12 PM, we were informed that we could move into the room we had originally booked. However, when we went to collect the key and enter the room, we were suddenly told that the room was not available after all. The communication was confusing and inconsistent, which caused unnecessary inconvenience. On top of that, the shower head in the room was visibly dirty and appeared to have not been cleaned properly. Overall, the stay was acceptable, but the privacy issue, poor communication, and cleanliness concerns significantly affected our experience. Entering a guest’s room without informing them is not something I would expect from a hotel and should be handled more professionally.

    We booked an S class from agoda - way cheaper if booked directly from Melon. The room itself looked nice at first glance, and the staff was friendly—especially the one who helped us rent a scooter despite the language barrier , which we really appreciated. However, the cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired. Some of the equipment, including the sex swing and the special couch, were clearly not properly cleaned. I ended up buying my own disinfectant and used towels to cover surfaces, but even then I didn’t feel comfortable enough to use the swing, as I could still see visible dirt that wouldn’t wipe off. The spa bath was even worse—when we turned on the jets, it shot out brown flakes, which was pretty off-putting and unhygienic. It clearly hadn’t been deep cleaned in a long time. It’s a shame because the space has potential, but proper maintenance and hygiene are essential, especially when offering specialty amenities. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously for future guests. To make things worse, I spent time at midnight cleaning the spa bath myself instead of relaxing. I ran multiple cycles of filling, draining, and disinfecting, but no matter how many times I tried, it was still shooting out brown gunk. In the end, I gave up and didn’t use it at all—a total letdown for what was meant to be a relaxing stay.
