This was our second stay, first time was in July. Waterpark was open this time, so our daughter had an even better time this time around. Food was very good, even better than our previous stay. Lunch included chicken curry, gammon in orange sauce and pork tavas. Dinner included chicken cacciatore, spicy breaded chicken legs and beef steak. Breakfast buffet also better than average, highlights included omelettes and fluffy pancakes. Staff is great, from the reception, to the F&B manager and kitchen staff and bar staff. Professional, kind and serving with a smile on their face. Decent entertainment program, including Kids' disco and music quiz. Other positives: 1) fast, free internet (Wi-Fi 6); 2) brand new facilities; 3) very clean room; and 4) free secure on-site parking. Give the hotel a chance, ignore the unfair negative feedback. You will be pleasantly surprised like we were. Even more so the second time around. There is room for improvement, but the hotel is definitely above average for its class.

The room was so pretty had an amazing sea view , and honestly had such a great time . My only complaint was that for the all inclusive the coffee choices were very limited (eg I asked for a fredo espresso and was told to pay extra even tho they offered espressos ). Apart from that I’m very happy and will be returning next year :)))

We recently stayed at Maris Grand Waterpark Resort, and overall, it was a letdown. First, the food was not fresh. The vegetables were old and moldy, while the sliced meat was clearly old — dry edges, odd texture, and just looked unappetising (see attached photos). It felt more like leftovers rather than freshly prepared items. For a resort that claims to be premium, this level of food quality was shocking and disappointing. Second, the “all-inclusive” package is misleading. Only the most basic cocktails are included + local beer, soft drinks, and two house wines. Anything else, bootled water including an extra charge. This was incredibly frustrating and should be made much clearer before booking. You don’t expect to have to pay extra at an “all-inclusive” resort. And finally — and most frustrating of all — the waterpark was closed during our stay. This is a major feature and selling point of the resort, and nowhere during the booking process was this disclosed. Guests should be clearly informed before booking if a key attraction like this is unavailable. It felt very dishonest and disappointing, especially for families traveling with children who were looking forward to it. However, the hotel does offer a shuttle service to their sister property, Narcissos Waterpark Resort, but the service only runs once an hour, which can be inconvenient. Additionally, the hotel swimming pool was quite overcrowded, and finding a sun lounger was impossible. The same issue existed at the Maris Grand, with far too few sunbeds available for the number of guests. Even with notices prohibiting reservations, we noticed guests reserving sunbeds early in the morning by placing their towels down. Overall, this situation felt mismanaged and left a lot to be desired during our stay. There are no bins in the pool area, resulting in plastic cups and other litter being blown around. We were expecting a relaxing, fun, all-inclusive experience, but instead got subpar food, drink restrictions, and no waterpark. Not worth the money and wouldn’t recommend unless significant improvements are made. 📸 (Photos attached show the poor food quality.)
