The location on the seawall across from the beach is great. The property is a little run down but not terrible. The rooms are efficient and ours was clean, A/C worked fine. Staff was pleasant enough but not overly friendly.
The reason we would not recommend is because we were awoken at 1:30 by loud yelling, banging and running up and down the corridor by what sounded like 4 or 5 people. It lasted a few minutes. we would have called the desk if it lasted longer. We were a bit startled and concerned about our vehicle as we heard some banging in the parking lot. Not sure if they were registered guests or came off the street but it was a little scary for a few minutes. Informed Patrick at desk when we checked out. Safety/security is more important than a good rate so we will pay more at a different hotel next time.
