    The location was excellent and the rooms offered good value for the price; while the staff service was satisfactory, I would certainly consider staying here again.

    It was a fun getaway to Galveston for my first time in 29 years and my family's first time ever. I found the Mariner Inn because of its convenient location and reasonable price point for the location. It did not disappoint in that regard, but the rooms are only average, and the beds were uncomfortable. The shower/toilet combo is small, but there is a microwave, fridge, table, chair, and nightstand. The AC was blasting cold. We would stay here again.

    The room provided reasonable value for the price, offering the basic accommodations we required. While the scent of bleach was reassuring regarding cleanliness, our service experience was inconsistent; the first staff member was unhelpful, whereas the second was professional and accommodating. The location is excellent, though one of our assigned rooms had a cockroach infestation, while the other remained unaffected. Despite these localized pest issues, the property remains a budget-friendly option for this area.
