This is an absolutely stunning property. It gives you direct access to the beach and cliff views, and the property has a beautiful lawn. The cottage was very spacious and quite clean. I was workationing from this property and had a wonderful time working from the hammock and lawn chairs. It’s a very relaxing place if you’re looking to unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Got to witness the most glorious sunset during the stay. The staff is very helpful too.

The location is great as it is right beside the beach. The highlight is also their infinity pool. Room was spacious and clean. The service is good enough but don’t expect quick and prompt service at all times. It is not a drawback but one has to walk a bit to reach the restaurant. The breakfast is not a buffet spread but they have a fixed menu and you can order anything from there. Overall it is good but I felt the price is a bit on the higher side for the room we had booked. Could be also because of the long weekend.

We had such a wonderful family stay at Maadathil Cottages, Varkala. What we loved most was the beautiful beach view and the easy beach access. Walking up to that view and being able to walk straight towards the beach made the stay really special. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the peaceful surroundings gave us exactly the relaxing break we were looking for. The property has a lovely natural feel, and we enjoyed spending time there with our family. The hospitality was warm and genuine, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. We came back with some really beautiful memories from our trip. Definitely one of those places you leave wishing you had stayed a little longer. Would happily come back again! ❤️🌴
