If you remember there is no lift and no air conditioning you will be OK. If you stay during a heat wave it is almost unbearable.
Location is great. There are cafés, the metro, Monmartre and Sacre Couer close by.

Unbeatable location. 300 yards from the Metro. Arrived by train into the heart of Monmartre. Special Hotel staff was great.
Had everything I needed to visit well. Early luggage drop off, good tips on local food, shopping, and how to find my way around.
Would definitely use again.

Hotel Luxelthe is perfectly situated for exploring, just a few minutes from the Moulin Rouge and steps away from metro and bus stations. The surrounding area is lively, filled with great bars and restaurants, making it an ideal base for enjoying the city's nightlife. The rooms are clean with comfortable beds and good showers, and while some of the staff don’t speak much English, they were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. I would definitely choose to stay here again on a future trip to Paris.
As the hotel is in a charming older building, there are a few things to keep in mind: there is no elevator, and the rooms are on the smaller side. Because it’s a vibrant, bohemian neighborhood, you can hear some street noise at night, as well as footsteps or doors in the hallway. I’m not a heavy sleeper and didn't find it to be a major issue, but it is something to consider if you are sensitive to sound or have a noisy neighbor. Overall, for the price and the incredible location, it is a great value.
