Just back from 5 days in Sans Sebastian and stayed at the Leonardo Hotel. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. It's a little bit out from the centre of the city but there is literally a bus stop at the door with a high frequency of buses, no. 19 bus brings your right into old town in around 15 minutes. Staff great, service great, very comfortable and clean rooms serviced everyday. Great shower and really good aircon. Nice and quiet location. Not too many options to eat close by but the food in the hotel was really nice. You'll be eating out most of the time anyway but it's a decent option if you need it. Also, decent value compared to the rest of the hotels in the city. We had a rental car, plenty of parking in the hotel car park but at €15 per day we choose to park on the street for free and had no problem finding a spot. Swimming pool on the roof top that was clean and well maintained. Again, no hesitation in recommending this hotal.

Nice quiet area. Ten euros for a taxi to the centre or a bus stops outside. Small, medium size pool, nice bar and restaurant area. Booked smaller room and was the same size as the bigger rooms, I think they are all the same size so ignore the extra cost for bigger rooms. Only one bottle of water. Cleaner doesn’t seem to knock when entering but apart from that a nice hotel.

The location was great! The facilities were nice and everything was in walking distance

The hall/entrance area was nice and the property overall was clean. The room was fine for a 3-star — nothing fancy, but reasonable for the price. Unfortunately the mattress was worn out and not very comfortable. Breakfast was quite basic, could use more variety. Also had an unpleasant encounter with one of the bar staff who seem to be rude — not a great look for an otherwise ok stay. If you have a car it’s a good choice. Otherwise quite far for a walk in the town.
