Laristone Suite Spa Hotel

I feel compelled to share our experience with this hotel so that other guests can make an informed decision. I booked this hotel through Agoda to celebrate my 30th birthday with my family. There were nine of us staying across multiple rooms, and I had been communicating with the hotel for several months before our arrival to ensure everything was organised properly for such an important occasion. Given the amount of planning that went into this trip, I expected our stay to run smoothly. I appreciate that accommodating a larger group can present challenges, but I also expected the arrangements discussed and agreed in advance to be honoured. I would like to acknowledge that the hotel organised a birthday celebration for me before we went out for dinner. It was a thoughtful gesture and something I genuinely appreciated. I would also like to highlight the hotel’s spa facilities, which were excellent. The treatments were incredibly relaxing, the facilities were well maintained, and this was one of the best parts of our stay. In particular, Haci from the Spa team deserves special recognition. He was the only member of staff who consistently showed genuine care and concern for me and my family. He went above and beyond to help wherever he could, and his kindness and professionalism did not go unnoticed. Unfortunately, beyond these positives, our overall experience fell well below the standard we expected. From the moment we arrived, there were significant communication issues. The air conditioning had not been switched on before our arrival, and the temperature inside our room was approximately 33 degrees, making our first impression extremely uncomfortable. Throughout our stay, we repeatedly made requests that staff appeared to agree to, only for something completely different to happen. It often felt as though there was a language barrier, making even straightforward requests difficult to resolve. As a result, we spent far more time trying to sort out problems than actually enjoying our holiday. Despite booking as one family, our rooms were scattered throughout the hotel. Several rooms had not been cleaned properly, with dirt, dust, mosquitoes, and a general impression that they had not been prepared for arriving guests. The rooms were also noticeably worn and in need of attention, despite the hotel advertising itself as recently renovated. The baby cot provided for my nephew was dirty and stained, suggesting that basic cleanliness standards had not been met. After we raised our concerns about the condition of the rooms, we were offered an upgrade to a suite for one of the five rooms we had booked. While we appreciated the gesture, the upgraded room was also not properly prepared. Hand soap had not been replenished, and during housekeeping service, the towels were not replaced despite being left on the floor to indicate that we required fresh ones. The inconsistencies throughout the hotel were extremely frustrating. Some rooms received complimentary bottled water while others did not. Several rooms had no hand soap, and fresh towels were provided to some rooms but not others. Standards of housekeeping appeared to vary considerably from room to room. Another disappointing experience involved extending our stay. Some members of our family wished to stay for an additional night. Initially, reception advised that this would not be a problem, so we believed everything had been arranged. However, after another member of staff became involved, we were told that it was no longer possible. This left us confused and forced us to make alternative arrangements at very short notice. Better communication from the outset would have avoided unnecessary stress, and we ended up spending much of our final full day trying to resolve the situation. The most disappointing issue concerned the additional accommodation booked for five members of my family. My father paid an extra €80 on the understanding that he would receive a suite large enough

Super clean, loads of space in the room ( we got a suite), amazing staff, and great location. Small improvements would be the breakfast isn't the best., Very basic. Got a bit windy and the umbrella just blow away and break so no much shade, if they got better quality then that would help dramatically.

This hotel must be 5 stars everything was great for family and the staff were helpful

So many moaquitos. We couldnt sleep in the room because of them. There should be some screen.
