We booked earlier through Agoda and received a confirmed booking. However, when we arrived at the property, there was no staff available to accommodate us. We waited around 30 minutes before receiving a response.
When the staff finally arrived, we were informed that all rooms were already fully booked and that they had not noticed our confirmed Agoda reservation. This was disappointing, especially since our booking had already been confirmed.
Thankfully, the staff recommended another nearby homestay and refunded our payment for the confirmed booking. We appreciate that they helped us find an alternative and processed the refund, but we hope they can improve their booking management and communication to avoid this situation happening to other guests.
