    Excellent location - walking distance to my office and near many eating places and convenience shops. Room is big and very clean. Now I know that my last trip when there was no hot water at night, it was because I was supposed to ask them to turn on the water pump if I return after 10pm, so it was more of my unawareness rather than a faulty heater! Bramble is fantastic! The breakfast was very delicious everyday!

    For a property designated as 5 star , I was expecting a better ambiance and facilities. It was hard to find due to lack of signage visible streetwise. The staff is friendly and welcoming but this doesn't make up for the hotel's lack of better amenities.

    Booked this room based on its location and free breakfast. Didn’t disappoint. Will definitely use this hotel again next time we’re in Davao.

    We have been staying at this hotel semi regularly over the years. Always comfortable but standard has gone down a bit. The options for breakfast menu has been reduced significantly and now large dogs are staying in the hotel. The smell of dogs and dog urine is noticeable plus barking all night is not what I paid for. Amenities have become less as well. Especially in the rooms. We would happily pay a bit extra to get the old Bourke breakfast options and better range of teas, coffe and beer in the rooms. Will still continue to use it for now but If standards drop much more we will seek an alternative.
