    I was frustrated booking a Suite room at this Hotel. On the Agoda website, they clearly mentioned that the Suite room has 1 King size bed and 2 single beds (see attached photos). I had called Hotel management to verify that the Suite room can accommodate 4 guests. So, I went ahead, entered date, total 4 number of guests (even though we were 3 only) and selected Suite room for the booking. I made the total payment of ***/- at the time of booking. After some time, I received booking confirmation (booking ID – 2047609251) email with the confirmation voucher. When I saw it, it mentioned that the booking was for only 1 occupancy / adult. I was shocked, because my check-in date was at the same day and I could not modify my booking at Agoda! (see attached screenshot) I called the property and explained them the situation. They did not listen to me and told me that I had to pay Rs. 2000/- extra for the remaining 2 guests (we are a group of 3). I got frustrated and called the Agoda customer care several times. Every time a new mem er answered the call and I had to explain them my situation. One executive put me on hold for 30-40 minutes while he was talking with their third-party hotel agents and the property itself. I wasted 3 hours talking with customer care representatives, without any conclusion. Please see attached screenshot showing a WhatsApp chat and representative’s final message that they cannot do anything. Later I got couple of calls from Agoda representative in Malaysia (phone number +60-72689000). I could hardly understand their English but she was polite and said she will do something. Another half an hour went by and they could not do anything. They were asking me to talk with hotel management for this mistake. Meantime, I reached the hotel and tried to convince them. They did not listen and I had to pay extra Rs. 2000/- at the hotel. This is very frustrating. Why Agoda is showing false information on their website? If the Suite room is only available for single occupancy, then why it was shown as the available room for booking? Please stop fooling your valuable customers who use your website on regular basis for the booking. Very bad experience Agoda!
