Very nice onsen, nice food, very nice staff, I left a glasses in yamamizuki and email them, they are very responsive and courier to me very soon before I leave Fukuoka. Would like to visit again!

Service is superb. The staff was waiting at the entrance of the carpark when we arrived. They will check with you via email or phone call on your arrival time, mode of transport as well as food allergies weeks before your arrival. The room I booked has a private Onsen. Room is spacious and food is delicious. Will definitely recommend. Hope to come here again.

This place offers unbeatable value with its prime location, making it easy to explore nearby shopping and attractions. The cleanliness is top-notch, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall experience. Facilities are impressive, especially the hot spring, which adds a lovely touch to relaxation after a day out. Plus, the walkability of the area and the beautiful views make it a perfect choice for anyone looking to enjoy their stay.
    5.2 / 10·Apr 2026
Very disappointing experience. We booked a mountain view room but ended up with a view of the parking area instead. Dinner was served in a windowless room, which we really didn’t enjoy—especially since other guests seemed to have dining rooms with windows. The meal itself wasn’t great, finishing with a cheap strawberry sorbet that felt out of place. The rooms are not well soundproofed, and we could hear doors from neighboring rooms early in the morning. Service was also below expectations. Having stayed in many ryokans over the past 10 years while traveling in Japan, this felt more like a tourist trap than an authentic, memorable experience. The amenities and overall service were quite poor. The outdoor baths were great—that was the only highlight.
