    I really enjoyed my time staying at Kosmo Ulleungdo. It's known as the best stay on the small island and it really is. The manager Mr Kim speaks very well and is warm, kind and very friendly and helpful. The room is huge and warm and the Resort faces the Songgotsan, a mountain believed by locals to held immense energy. It was just beautiful and calming to wake up and see the mountain. The Resort also has a light show at 7pm, which was really amazing. I've never seen a light show in a hotel so I was blown away. The Resort also gave many complimentary drinks and snacks and gave me a souvenir of their local produce which I thought was extremely generous. They also made a vegan breakfast for me based on my request. I paid around $60 USD for it, and the portion was huge and very beautiful. The Resort also drove me to my harbour without charge. I was really treated very well and taken great care of on my one night trip. I will definitely stay with them in the future if I am to return again. An airport is in the works, due to open in 2028. If you can, do visit Ulleungdo before it becomes overcrowded. Lovely island with a unique vibe.
