    Spent 2.5 days here to get a break from the busy cities. The hotel is tucked away a bit from the center and Yubatake and you can get a shuttle either from Karuizawa or the bus station. The lush green around the hotel and calm area in general was just beautiful and although it was raining most of my stay, that just added to experience with the sound of raindrops giving the perfect mystical atmosphere. The multiple onsen baths are super relaxing and especially the outdoor pool was a highlight. I didn't pay enough attention when booking the room as I wasn't expecting it - my room didn't have a shower. I think most of the regular rooms do not. Which isn't a big thing, there are enough washing areas in the onsen baths - just double check if that's important to you. Great place, easy to just walk around, 10-15 minutes to Yubatake and center.
