    This is a nice variation condo/resort, and is much more than a hotel. The one bedroom unit we stayed in was very spacious with two full bath rooms, a full kitchen, washer and dryer and it felt like home away from home. The unit is well appointed and the resort has beautiful landscape. It’s close to beaches and other attractions but it doesn’t have direct beach access. The price we paid was very reasonable so we are very pleased with the choice we made and had very good time here.

    Spacious room with 1000 sq. ft.! Full kitchen, huge living room, spacious dining room and dining area in the patio with an ocean view! Everything you can expect with such a reasonable price. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great pool, great view of the sunset. In a very convenient location south of Kona. This was one of our best vacation experiences.

    Had a great time staying at Kona Coast Resort. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The only downside was that room cleaning is only provided for stays longer than 10 days, which was a bit of a bummer. That said, the staff was helpful and provided fresh towels and other amenities upon request. Overall, it was a good stay and I’d recommend it.

    We ended up just leaving our stuff here and staying somewhere else because the smell (ammonia/cigarettes) immediately gave me a headache and it felt dirty inside. When we came back to get our stuff we saw they just change the sheets on the bed/didn't seem to have a vacuum or anything to clean the bathroom (also said they only had an hour before the next guests arrived so definitely not ample cleaning time). The stuff in our suitcases smelled like the place when we got back home.
