    Stayed two nights for easy access to Seoraksan national park. In terms of location, it's unbeatable - 5 mins walk to the national park entrance. The gentleman at the front desk was exceptionally welcoming and polite with a genuine smile. The hotel is styled with quaint British influences and photos of celebraties which adds a bit of interest. There is a wonderful view of Seoraksan mountain right outside and from our room. The Premier twin room was old style and the carpet and wallpaper looked a bit tired. It was clean. The bathroom was a bit cramped. Our main issue was somehow the bed/pillows were not comfortable (our friend in another room had the same issue), we all slept badly and woke up with sore necks :(

    I love that the hotel is just a short walk to Mt Soerak National Park. Though a little old, its clean, breakfast is great and the room view facing Mt Soerak is exceptional. If you love nature and a place to rest after hiking, this is the place.

    Conveniently located. Beautiful view and close to the Seorak Cable Car. Short drive to Osaek Mineral Springs. We also drove our rental to Goseong Unification Observatory and chose to stay at Kensington our third night instead of finding a different place to stay instead of our originally planned two night stay. The hotel is older and some wear and tear is visible but it has charm and an hommage to all things English. Food was exceptional and worth the price; both breakfast buffet and dinner menu at the Queen's Table. Regretfully, we didn't try the high toon tea package. Each floor has a different theme. Many famous celebrities and dignitaries have stayed at this hotel. Staff on site are very friendly and very accommodating. If we return to Seoraksan, definitely staying here again. Very satisfied with our stay at Kensington.

    설악산국립공원을 온전히 즐길수있는 위치. 설악산 입구에서 걸어서 이동가능합니다. 현지특색을 살려 황태국과 곤드래밥이 있는 조식이 좋았습니다. 그리고 셀프런드리가 있어 일주일간 여행하고 있는 우리에겐 도움이 많이 됩니다. 그러나 오래된 산속호텔로 전망방으로 업그레이드해서 묵어야만한다. 오래된방 뒷쪽방에 묵으면 카펫에서 곰팡이냄새ㅠㅠ 햇빛안들어옴, 화장실 구석에 곰팡이 ㅠㅠ 숨쉬기가 어렵습니다. 밤새 기침하다 잠못잠 ㅠㅠ 여행이 악몽이 되어 다른호텔로 도망갈까생각했음. 그러나 앞에 전망을 보는 방은 바닥이 우든플로어로 리모델링되었고 해도 잘들어 좋습니다. 직원들도 친절합니다. 산속이라 습기가 많아요. 일부 제습, 시설관리가 조금더 세심하게 필요해보입니다.
