As I was planning this trip to Beijing, I was specifically looking for a place to stay in this side of the city. Kelly's proved to be just what I was looking for. Its location is handy to the subway and shops, plus plenty of eateries nearby too. The staff here are fantastic, and Mark was been beyond helpful!

I stayed here for 6 days with my friend, and it truly fulfilled my experience in Beijing.
If you are quite tall (around 180 cm or above), the room might feel a bit small. However, if you’re comfortable with a cozy space, I would definitely recommend this place.
Staying here made me feel at home.it was very healing and peaceful, without overly sophisticated decoration. I believe this is because the hotel is located in a traditional hutong area, which gives it a calm and authentic atmosphere.
You’ll need to walk through a small alley to reach the hotel (about 6 minutes), and it’s around a 10-minute walk to the subway. Still, everything you need is nearby.
The location is truly special.it’s within Beijing’s 2nd Ring area, which is quite rare. You can even walk to major attractions like Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square, although I would recommend taking Didi for convenience.
What made this stay unforgettable was the staff. They treated us like family, which is exactly the kind of experience I look for when traveling warm, personal, and authentic.

Step back in history in this 1,000 year old Hutong neighborhood. John and Kelly accomplished in renovating this space to become unique modern fusion architecture. It had the coolest vibe that attracted a diverse tribe. The common space with its glass roof is surrounded by nine rooms and where breakfast is served. Laundry in the up stairs loft with space on the roof to dry was a nice amenity. I would call it a homestay; the owners live upstairs and were very helpful. The nicest place we stayed in 10 weeks of traveling through Asia. Great location, comfortable beds and good breakfast food. Why would you want to stay anywhere else dude? We stayed 5 nights and will always fondly remember our visit to Kelly's and Beijing.
