Kasa Sunset Los Angeles

I had a very good stay at Kasa Sunset. The apartment was incredibly spacious, bright, and well equipped, and the view was one of my favorite things about it. I could actually see both the Hollywood Sign and Griffith Observatory from my room, which was a great bonus and really added to the LA experience. Before arriving, I would definitely recommend completing the online check-in. The main entrance is locked and accessed by keypad, and once checked in you receive one code that works for the main entrance, your room, and the other facilities. There is also paid parking available in the basement. Another big plus was the free laundry in the basement, with detergent provided. This was especially convenient during a longer stay. There are a few things worth knowing, though. Kasa is more of a self-service concept, so there is no traditional daily housekeeping. The towel supply was also limited, and I was told that I couldn’t request additional towels, which I found a little inconvenient. My main issue was the temperature difference between the bedroom and the living room. The bedroom was noticeably warmer, so I actually ended up sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room because it was much cooler. The sofa bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but I preferred it to sleeping in the warmer bedroom. Finally, the location can be noisy at night. Police and fire truck sirens were quite noticeable and woke me up several times. To their credit, Kasa provides earplugs and an ambient sound machine in the room, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. The huge amount of space, the views of the Hollywood Sign and Griffith Observatory, the convenient location, and the free laundry were the highlights for me. There are a few things that could be improved, particularly the bedroom temperature, towel policy, and nighttime noise, but I would still consider staying here again.

Wonderful place. Clean. Nice kitchen. Great layout. Loved the windows and view. Comfortable bed. Has everything we needed. Close to everything.

Whole experience was easy to use and come and go. Room was very clean and well setup. 0 complaints other than the smell in the car park which was just garbage .

We had a very poor experience during our stay. The check-in process was frustrating and inefficient. Things only got worse once we reached our room, as it had an unpleasant, foul odor. While we complained to management about the smell and received a response within an hour, the overall stay was far from restful. To make matters worse, there was a continuous, loud knocking noise coming from the bathroom that lasted the entire night, making it nearly impossible to sleep. Between the initial check-in delay, the room odor, and the night-long noise disruption, this fell far short of acceptable standards. I would not recommend staying here until they address their maintenance and service quality.
