Clean and not bad if you are staying for only 1-2 nights. Close to the beach :)

The location is literally few steps from the beach and is in the center of everything. Near famous food spots & near the tricycle terminal. The AC in the room is superb. Sobrang lamig. Plus may water dispenser sa baba where we can get water everytime na lalabas kami. Better if the shower on the 2nd bathroom was working but regardless we had a great stay. Till next time!

The staff committed an error with our check-in date. They didn’t apologize and instead claimed they had emailed us. We were then transferred to a cheaper room nearby.

Prior to this trip, one of my requests was to check in early. However, the owner did not inform me that there would be a caretaker present at the hostel, nor did they provide a contact number in case of any issues. I admit I was also partly at fault since I didn’t specifically mention that I would be arriving at 6 AM.
The problem started when I tried to call the owner — the first two calls were ringing, but after the third to sixth attempts, the phone was turned off. As I mentioned earlier, things could have been handled better if they had just given me a contact number instead of turning off their phone.
Left with no choice, I immediately went to a nearby apartelle just to rest, which cost me ₱1,000. The owner finally contacted me at 12:50 PM, informing me that their caretaker would be at the hostel by 8 AM. This really frustrated me — I would have waited instead of paying for an apartelle if they had simply answered my calls or informed me earlier.
As for the hostel itself, their restrooms were disappointing. They have two upstairs and two downstairs, but only one faucet works downstairs — and even that one has very little water flow. The restrooms upstairs rely on large containers that have to be manually filled by the caretaker.
The only good thing about this hostel is the rooms themselves. However, it’s more advisable to book their group rooms since those have private restrooms. The shared restrooms are not satisfactory.
Kudos to their caretaker, though, for their hard work and constant presence — especially for filling the water containers by hand.
