We arrived at Jannat Resort Hotel in Koi Tash on July 2 at around 11:30 a.m. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the start. The receptionist barely smiled and did not greet us warmly. We waited until 12:00 to be checked in, which was fine, but when we asked about nearby places for horse riding, the receptionist was not helpful at all. After checking in, we noticed that the room did not have a safe, although we had been told at reception that there was one. The bathrobe was also missing the necessary loops or parts needed to hold the belt properly, so it could not be tied comfortably. After checking in, we had lunch and booked a massage at the spa. The ladies at the spa were not particularly friendly, although the massage itself was fine. I made an effort to connect with the masseuse, rather than the other way around. I speak the native language, but I have lived abroad since the 1990s, including in Switzerland, France, England, and now the United States. I am well traveled and have visited many four- and five-star resorts. I love my country, but my stay at Jannat Resort was disappointing, especially considering the price and the level of service expected. The staff would have benefited greatly from a more professional hospitality training. There were only a few guests at the hotel, so the lack of attention and care was even more noticeable. Our experience at the mineral pool was another disappointment. The chairs were placed so close to each other that it was difficult to access them. In some areas, large plants were hanging directly above the chairs, with spiky leaves poking into your face, making it impossible to sit comfortably. When I asked a staff member at the pool about the depth of the pool, he responded as if my question was a burden. I then asked him to help move some chairs, and again, he was rude and helped unwillingly. Dinner was also disappointing. The waiter mixed up our order and brought two steaks instead of one. The meat was cooked hard, even though I ordered it medium. At another dinner, we experienced a separate and very unpleasant incident. We were told that we could not eat at the restaurant because we had not purchased the all-inclusive package with three meals a day. However, on the previous days, we had been able to eat at the restaurant because there were only a few guests in the entire hotel and the restaurant was practically empty. An administrator came to “lecture” me about the rules. I responded that these rules or conditions were not clearly described online at the time of booking. The point is not to lecture guests who paid a premium price, but to improve the hotel’s own service, communication, and professionalism. After dinner one evening, it started raining. The weather was warm and lovely, and I wanted to sit outside under a protected roof and enjoy the rain and fresh air, but there was no suitable covered outdoor sitting area. The next morning, we had breakfast. The food was below average. I was looking forward to kaimak, but it tasted like supermarket quality, sour and not fresh. Service was slow, including the egg station. Someone ordered an omelet, but instead of making an omelet, the cook simply stirred eggs with vegetables. The coffee was terrible, with a very strange taste, and was impossible to drink. I read other reviews and noticed that management seems to respond to reviews, but it does not appear that meaningful action is being taken to improve the service. The price is high for what is offered. I am prepared to pay a higher price, but I expect at least a minimum level of professional service in return. We also went hiking, but there were no clear signs showing how to access the stairs up into the mountains or the horse stable. The hotel itself needs serious maintenance. I noticed broken and outdated areas throughout the property. The paint on the building was peeling and clearly needed proper waterproof painting. On our last night, I went to the spa to book anoth
