Incheon (Eulwangri) Baegun Hostel

Our stay had both positives and negatives. The location is convenient and close to the beach, and the room itself was clean and tidy. Unfortunately, check-in was extremely difficult. We had changed our reservation a couple of times before arriving (canceling previous bookings and making a new confirmed booking). The owner was looking at one of the canceled reservations instead of the active one. He appeared to keep all of the reservations handwritten with a marker on several folded pieces of paper rather than using a computer system, which seemed to make finding reservations much more difficult. Because communication was also very challenging, it took nearly an hour to resolve. Even after we found the confirmed Agoda booking on his phone, the check-in process was still very slow and frustrating. The owner seemed like a kind gentleman, but he appeared to be managing everything by himself, and it seemed he could benefit from additional help, especially during check-in. One other issue was that the pillows and bed linens had a noticeable body odor, so we ended up sleeping with our towels over the pillows. Overall, the location is good, but the check-in experience and the condition of the bedding need improvement.
