We spent 6 nights at the Hyatt Place Gilbert during Christmas. We had a very enjoyable stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice, a pleasure to speak with.
We experienced a problem with our shower which forced us to change rooms after the first night. The maintenance person did not show up for work that day and only he knew how to repair the problem, so we had to repack everything and change rooms. It seemed to me that they would have offered us an upgrade, which I requested, because of the inconvenience, but they seemed reluctant to do that because we still had 5 nights left in our stay.
Their breakfast was very good the first day but seemed to get worse with each day as the week progressed. They ran out of different food items day by day until we finally were forced to go elsewhere for breakfast. We did pay $5 per day for breakfast at the hotel, so that was money wasted.
With exception to these problems I still recommend this hotel.
