Great restaurant and rooms were very clean

Howard Johnson's motor lodges are all but extinct in the northeast, but they had a good reputation back in the day so we booked it.. The only real negative is that the restaurant they promote being on site is a dinner only location which is closed on Sunday nights, and it trends to the higher end for a vacationing family. It was a great experience, in that the people were amazing, food was good and the environment was very nice, but we booked it with the expectation that it was a standard Howard Johnson's type restaurant and it would be convenient for our meals. That being said, there are great breakfast, lunch and dinner options very near by that we loved. We will definitely stay again.
