If you need a place to stay to explore the area or to visit amanohashidate, this is the place you want to be. But few things you need to consider:
1. We booked a japanese style room and it was a tatami room with futon beddings. (If you are sensitive to dust or having an allergic rhinitis, this room is not for you- my friend had to endure for 2 nights as the dust in the room made her sneeze couple of times.
2. The beddings were too thin and I am not sure if the futon cover is just a mistake or it has to be like that (the cover seems to be for the bedsheet and it did not cover the whole futon.
3. Speaking of the futon, it was full of dust that my friend suffered for 2 nights.
4. If you are staying at the annex, onsen is available at the ground floor and general bath. Hope they can also make an english translation of the labels like shampoo, body wash etc. in the bath for foreigners who were not able read the post in japanese.
5. There were a lot of restaurants in the area and a shopping mall nearby.
5. Staff go way beyond his way eventhough he can’t speak english but he was very helpful in accommodating us.
All in all, the place is great for a short stay and a value for money. If I’ll going for a visit to this place again, I’ll try to book the other room.

Its a nice place to stay at with a traditional bath onsen just opposite the hotel. Hotel is very clean and comfortable allowing me to get good nights of sleep. Only thing is that the receptionist isn't able to speak english very well so it might be difficult to communicate, I had to use google translate alot.
