    Have never stayed in a hotel so unwelcoming to families. Nowhere on the agoda booking page does it state that prams or children under 12 are not allowed to stay in this hotel. You have to fold the pram everytime you get in, and the reason for this is that it is a listed building. I have stayed in hotels that are listed buildings, and have never encountered this issue. People with suitcases are allowed to come in though and walk as they wish on the cheaply carpeted floors. Accessibility is an issue for sure in this hotel. The rooms are minimal with no kettle, no ammenities, no fridge, and only hand soap in the bathrooms, towels are old. Soundproofing is minimal. For this price I would expect a bit more.

    The staff were exceptional and the hotel is well kept. Room amenities are very bare bones though - only body wash provided, no a/c. The staff’s willingness to assist goes above and beyond.
