Just spent a week at the Riu Palace Santa Maria and it was just perfect l, good food, nice staff, very cleaned hotel

The rooms were clean and bright and very well maintained, the food was delicious, varied and bountiful (although vegan options were poor) and the staff were all exceptionally friendly. As is synonymous with most all inclusive alcohol, you'll get full up before you get drunk, but its not a long walk into town or the bars on the beach. We had heard of a bad sickness bug in santa Maria before travelling, though thankfully that was not our experience, no doubt due to the diligent cleanliness and great food standards All in all, it was a nice quiet relaxing week in the sun and good value for money
