The Rich Garden is about 30 minutes south of Izumoshi station but there is a bus that goes directly outside. This same bus also goes to Izumo Taisha, Hinomisaka and Tachikue so its very well setup for tourist travel.
There is a supermarket across the road and a restaurant on the second floor. They also have some sort of spa but it may or not be women only, I am not sure and didn't wish to use it.
The room itself is a standard size with bed, desk and bathroom. The bathroom is bare minimum but does the job, the bed I found very cheap feeling, both in the mattress and the linin.
The room has a fridge but it is one of the cheap minifridge styles that never really gets cold, it is on and doing some work but unlike a proper fridge you can't adjust the settings or feel much difference.
There may have been a public bath at some point but there is not one now, the window in my room was the style of glass you cannot see out of so there was no view, just some basic natural light.
The staff were helpful, I have no issues with them, but the price is more than the basic, bare minimum product you get.
I am putting a recommend rating because I can't really say its not worth staying here but it really is on the border, the place is the bare minimum so that is also the level of my recommendation.

Hotel was a little dated but for the price was great accidentally booked wrong room for myself and brother
Host was great upgraded us at no extra cost to 2 bed suite

Wer dieses Hotel bucht, sollte sich erkundigen, wo es liegt, anstatt sich über die Anfahrt zu beschweren. ..
Das Hotel ist in Ordnung, alles Sauber, gute Aussicht. Preis Leistung okay.

Its 10 mins bus from Izumoshi station, 25 mins walk. After 6pm there is no transport, only taxi can reach the hotel.
